Why not make a speedbooster for Dragon?

Yes, a MF to FF speedboster-adapter could be possible, the flange distances leave enough room.

As for Canon EF or Nikon FF-lenses, the only way to realize that would be a lens-mount with integrated optics. Maybe make those exchangeable for different resolutions...

This is a useless unicorn to chase in regards to Dragon 6K FF and FF35 glass. The "speed boost" wouldn't be one stop actually given the format sizes. As Evin mentioned in the first reply to this thread Dragon is rather close to FF35 in size. You already have access to a large sensor in reality. The juice really isn't worth the squeeze here.

However, if we're talking about using medium format glass on Dragon, well that's a different story.

Agreed, not much room to win some light here, but there is still the wider FOV, which could be nice to have. And then there is room to make adapters because of the different crop-factors and lower resolutions on RED cameras.

But thats probably not really worth it making a extra lens mount and different optics.

And honestly, wouldn't you find it hard choose between such a mount and the motion mount?

That route is indeed very interesting, not just for RED cameras.
