  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who wants to make a short Western?

Hey John... I was born in Goodyear Arizona!

The world gets smaller by the day Chris! Exciting times we live in. I am never surprised by the people I meet when I travel etc, not matter how far away from home you are...there is always that person you run into that can relate.

I was born in Newcastle, England. Immigrated to New Zealand at the age of two, then to the USA in 2000. Every port of call a friendly face :)

hehe... I lived in Bury St. Edmunds, England from 81 to 86... I miss a good snakebite ( harp lager and hard cider )

What I meant by the money question was this is how the tax credit works on TV & Film productions...when you multiply such percentages into multi-million dollar budgets you get to see this becomes a very real financial incentive...in fact it's the best in North America, but I'm not here to try to bring anything up here; I had only mentioned this in reference to the fact that this was one of the reasons people shoot in Manitoba.

I don't care where we shoot. I was supposed to be in Serbia directing a feature but I did my due diligence and punted the producers before I got in too deep! ~maybe I should be posting this on another OT thread ;)

Getting back on track however, I don't think anyone is thinking about remuneration here, which is good. There appears to be many skilled folks with a desire to make something, which is a great motivator...and one of the things I always here when I'm at Sundance -which is stop whining about the budget, do whatever it takes and just make the freakin' thing.
