  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who shipped their scarlet for a EPIC-X?

My Scarlet got there tuesday morning (14th, not today) and I haven't heard anything yet...the 7 to 10 day turnaround would put my delivery for Friday at the latest.
 
How long was it before you guys got an email after the time RED received the camera?
 
I just got an email from my Rep saying the Epic is almost complete. So hopefully it gets done before the four Day weekend. Stinks we are loosing a day on Friday :( but I have a shoot the 28/29 so cutting it close
 
its been 4-5 days for me.

I'm 50/50 with you on that. Looking at the only epic SN's provided, Chris was 5356 and received his EPIC on the 16th. My EPIC came today the 21st, and its SN is 5359. 16-21 is only a 4 business day gap. But the numbers are off but by one maybe 2 cameras as DC, never provided a SN of his camera to fill in on any of the gaps. Plus there could be plain old EPIC purchases. So if there is more cameras being evaluated, there should be a bigger gap in SN correct? Hopefully more cameras come out and will be a better base on how off/on the numbers are, but as of now, theres not much to base it off of so far sadly.

correction, DC SN is 5291 so numbers are off.

I contacted my Rep. He said that my scarlet is still being evaluated by their engineers. So I think the 7 to 10 day turnaround is not totally accurate. He said that, realistically, I shouldn't expect it this week. So if it arrives Tuesday of next week, it'll be two weeks even.
