  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who ordered EPIC stage 2? Let's try and count?

Sorry, meant to post.
#192 arrived yesterday. Been too busy testing etc. and generally having fun with the camera to post here...
Cheers,
Harry

PS Antonio, I don't understand the colors in your list. I used to be yellow, I'm now white.
PPS Also, you now have the list numerous times throughout this thread, which takes up huge amounts of space, and scrolling time. I would suggest simply updating the list on the 1st post of this thread, and you can post each time you've made an update...

Sorry, have cleaned up the thread and deleted most of the lists...back to post number +-300
I have put yours in black
color codes
RED=received their epic
Yellow=email received
Black=shipping
white=waiting for email
Ex=Epic serial number

it is not easy keeping this list, there is a 10.000 character limit and I have to keep on deleting peoples surnames....and updating is not easy when people don't also let me know their original RED serial number...I have to search for their name in a list +400 names long...

My number 206 arrives today, and dhampe has his too.

There was a minor snafu with my wire transfer (probably my number dyslexia transposed a digit)

Michael Keegan and Dan Baum at Red made the extra effort and some hours of account searching to track it down and getting my X sent out.

Big thank you to Michael and Dan.

Thank you Antonio for starting this thread for us and maintaining it. You're the MAN!

FYI my Epic-X is #19, which matches my original serial number.

I really love this camera. I loved the images the R1 made but it was always a bit of a brick and even in its most stripped down version was still tough for hand held. The Epic is not just half the size in terms of the body but with the ability to put RedVolts in the side handle, the size/capacity metric of the SSDs and the Bomb EVF size/weight vs the original EVF its much more hand held friendly.

Oooops, just started gushing on the stage 2 count thread ;-D

Cheers - #19 Ex

Just a friendly suggestion, but maybe you can begin to shorten the list by hyphenating a connected series. For example, if 1-30 but not 31 received their Epics, just write 1-20 and cut out their names. I don't think the owners would be too insulted their names aren't up on the board. But if you must have names, maybe list them in a single long sentence next to the 1-30 (but that sounds like a lot more work).

Hope that helps. And thanks for starting this list because it's helpful to try and track the progress.

Just received my Epic-X e-mail.

I took delivery of my Red One (#1600) on May 1st, 2008.

Does anyone know what is the timeline between PAYING FOR EPIC (after initial email), getting shipping notice, and actual delivery?

Just got my Epic-X e-mail. Took delivery of Red One #1628 on April 28, 2008. Never would have seen it coming if it weren't for this list. Thanks Antonio.

As soon as I got my email, I had the cash in my account. I sent an email to my BSR to proceed and she told me 5 to 7 business days for my package to ship.

My funds have been sitting in my RED account since April. It still took them 5 days to process the payment and for me to receive shipping notice.
