  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Which wireless video for steadicam

Here are some photos of the wireless setup on my hand-held rig and the 5 volt regulator with the DTap power connector. The total price of this setup for true 1080P wireless is less than $275.

your the man!
I am though looking for a professional unit and curious about what you have to offer. For the jobs im about to start crew and clients would think I was a joke with a jerry rigged bulky setup. I know that gear shouldn't matter if it does the job, and to me it doesn't matter. But image is everything to others...
I know an operator who showed up with a Redrock mattebox and the producer called him an amateur. He showed up the next day with Arri french flag and side wings on his RR mattebox and the producer said "now thats professional." hahaha. Sad but appearance is everything.

I can't tell you how to spend $700, but I could show you how to have the same thing for $350 or less.

Bhahahaha....... This is real funny.....(sorry guys)

+1 on this one... Dan is absolute right

As person Jacek is great guy with fair amount of knowledge. but in Business I will not support/ spend a single dime toward to OptiTek

5 volt regulator with the DTap power connector.

Dan, I know the regulator is big, I went for the quick solution. If you have a source for a small unit that can run at 2 amps that would be great.

Kwan, That is a great looking little regulator! I hope it can drive the unit until I can afford a "Professional" unit.
