  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Which do you prefer? A finished 4K aesthetic question!

Hi Phil,

Did you try the alpha build of CineX that is around and whose release is imminent. I suspect that will change some opinions, as I think what you showed was not the alpha, which is supposed to not have such an effect as the release version of Cine X does on, for example, scleral vessels.

Phil,

A - Green and Red separate in dark areas
B - Purple in skin comes off looking Brown and petrified
C - Purple skin and purple ends of hair
D - Pores too sharp and edgy : Purple hairs. Green and Red separate in dark areas
E - Reflected light on skin looks quite harsh. Purple hairs, Low noise.
F - White hairs look passable (i.e. not purple). Dark areas of Green and Red (just) ok. Skin slightly grey purple, pores slightly green. Noise - but ok to me.
H - Green and Purple on pores make him a bit plastic. Hairs not purple. Noise free
========

Nothing - Looks human. Subtle green in white of hair and pores
F No Sharp - looks like he has been drinking
F Sharp - Less convincing image of a person. Skin reflecting too much light.

When the image is moving - perception of the above could very well change.

Yes sir. I'm on the most recent DEB.

Fascinating thoughts overall. I'll have a moment to think about all that.
