Hello everyone, I am about to buy a RED EPIC but I dont want to until i can insure it in case of an accident on a shoot. I've called around to some places I found online for business insurance but no one will insure a RED EPIC because of its amount in cost. What insurance companies would you recommend?

Thank you all,
- Alex

Alex, I'm not a mod.

But please refrain from posting multiple thread on the same subject. 5 new threads within 13 minutes is a bit over the top. Actually a lot over the top.

Posting insurance, I guess...Can't be too careful, when insurance is involved...

Well, actually one can and, of course, should. Not recommended, really, one post is enough, especially for a well documented topic.

Thank you very much

Sorry bout that. Usually the case in a forum goes is unless your a usual poster anything you post gets lost in a sea of threads. Just wanted to be safe. When spending this kind of money you really can't be too safe. Though in the end I actually was able to find an insurance provider I'm happy with.

Have you contacted your insurance agent you have your car & home insurance with? I had my agent add a business rider to cover my business.

I have mine insured @ Kat as well. Friendly and fast. I had several questions and all were answered, even with my small package.

I've had a policy through insuremyequipment.com for the last couple years, and finally had to file a claim this Fall. They paid out without much of a hassle, and their adjuster was pretty friendly. My only gripe is that they keep East coast hours and sometimes take a couple days to respond to an email.

Kat at Athos the best bet

Do not use insure y equipment.com

Read their policy carefully. Costs more high deductible. Kat and Athos is your best choice.
