  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where in line are we and how manmy ordered?

This may or may not be true since we're being supplied by different hubs (US vs. Europe). The only way to know for sure is to get in contact with your rep. Have you paid in full yet? That was my first step, and 5 business days later I received a FedEx shipping notification.

If this was meant for me...

I ordered the Scarlet-X Canon AL, not the package (SO 0051175), followed soon after by the accessories (SO 0051225). Five business days ago my rep emailed to verify my order and charged my card in full.

My order SO-0050943 ordered Nov. 3rd within the first half hour, is still showing the whole thing as a package. Not broken out into parts...
Should I be happy (that it's going to be in the first batch with everything included) or sad (that something went wrong and I'll have to wait for the bits and pieces to come in little by little)?
I don't have a Rep yet (since Brent said we need to be patient and a Rep will be assigned to us closer to shipping...), so I haven't called to find out.
I also want to get the funds transferred before Dec. 1st... I guess I gotta call.

Just placed and order for SSDs and RED volts/travel charger and noticed that now the Scarlet package is all broken out individually in my order page... hmmmmmmmmmm
Still not shipping the bits though.

I posted this a few pages back....

Chris,

I think the people getting there parts shipped out put it in as a separate order than there Scarlet. Whether 10 seconds after or 10 days after it is a totally separate order. For example. I ordered a RED power pack on Sunday morning. My rep has already contacted me on the shipping process for that. While everything I ordered with my scarlet (Scarlet AL, DSMC Sidehandle, 4xRV, Touchscreen, Travel Charger, AC Adapter) are all shipping with the Scarlet. Everything I've ordered separately has been shipped or is shipping already. Everything in the same order as your Scarlet will ship when you Scarlet ships.

In my case. I ordered a Station and 2 RED Bricks separate of the time I placed an order for the Scarlet. My items are individualized as well. But they're still in that order. Orders ship together. If you completed a second transaction after your Scarlet order it will ship separate. Make sense?

Yep! That's what I figured...
My order was for a Canon package and wasn't split out to it's individual pieces in my orders page until today. I also ordered a Redmote about 5 minutes after the Scarlet (on a separate order) then the one today for SSDs and batteries... of course the Redmote is on backorder so it hasn't shipped. Hopefully the SSDs and Redvolts will ship this week for delivery before the Scarlet in December (when I'm sure they will go on backorder since everyone will see the need for those after receiving their tasty Scarlets).

Hmmmmmmmmm.... ordered my accessories (SO 0053271) on the 8th... holy sh*t didn't realize it was that long after my Scarlet order on the 3rd... guess it's not surprising that mine (2046 orders behind you) hasn't shipped yet :scared:
 
Timur, did you order at the event? I have a PL Scarlet on sales order #0051059 and the order has not started processing.

I'm telling you guys, the ramp up for Scarlet is going to be very quick. It is pretty much just an underclocked Epic, and it is likely that they had a pretty big pile of non-Epic capable boards sitting around waiting to go in those little grey bodies. With the build times they were down to on Epic, and apparent expansion of workforce and lines...I think its OK to start getting a little optimistic. I just wired the $10,000 into my account with orders to push the cam out as soon as it is allocated.
 
I'm 51009, and haven't heard anything yet. I'm Canon AL mount. One of my buddies with a virtually simultaneous order to mine was told by his Bomb Squad rep that they anticipated getting through stuff quickly and his order was "likely" to ship ON the 1st. So there's reason to be optimistic. Given the usual 3-5 day order processing time, I would hope to hear something (i.e. a notification and request for payment of balance) early next week.

Well.... just cause they took the money, doesnt mean they will ship right away..... when i get a Fedex email.. i will let you all know.
 
Hm. Im 0953 Ti PL Mount and I haven't heard anything yet...

Weird.

I ordered right when the website went up on Nov. 17th.
