Where can I find a product like this !??!

[Pedro Guimaraes]

I just came back from a job where we rented these units from Keslow Camera.

this is thier description
"Keslow RED Expander Box $25/day
Keslow's proprietary expander box for the RED One Camera features an accurate voltage read out with on/off day-glo backlight, hot swap with either AC or DC power sources, 4 x 12V 3-pin Fischer accessory outputs, tally light, passes GPIO information (start/stop, etc) to the RED One camera"

I have attached a pic what it looks like...

It's really great, let me power everything I needed, start/stop the camera and had a second power port for hot swapping batteries.

It's exactly what I need for my next job but unfortunately they do not sell these units and my employer does not want to rent.

Is there anything else out there that does the same thing?

HELP!!

Abel sells the House of Power breakout box for the RED that performs many of the same functions. Here's the link.

Here's a video I did for our blog, Cine Technica, on the House of Power accessories.

Keslow's Magic Box is custom, they it from the feedback of DITs and camera assistants. Mike Kramer builds them by hand... the boxes are pretty fantastic.

They're also small enough that you don't really feel the weight of them on the camera. We went through 7 generations or so before landing at the current design.

Keslow's unit is awesome. I wish they would sell it.

Thanks mitch for the house of power unit link.....it does do what the keslow unit does but it much bigger and costs $2k.....I don't think they have the budget for that....

Thanks all.....
