  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi there. . .

I just imported a clip shot on a Scarlet-X into my Premiere Pro timeline and went to adjust the Source Settings (White balance, ISO, Gamma space, etc.) like I always do on my RED One footage, but when I click to get into the Source Settings, it's not highlighted. . . that is, dark in PP.

How do I get into this? It's sort of important.

:-)

Thanks.

Stephen

Hi,
just make a double click on the desired Clip IN THE TIMELINE. It`s no more calles SOURCE SETTINGS in project window.

A bit more of an expanded answer.

When a clip is selected or shown in the Source Monitor under Effects Controls you will see "Master Effects".

Your REDCODE RAW Metadata settings live there.

In your bins, select all your clips. Right-click (Mac) and click on "Disable Master Clip Effects".
Now you can access Source Settings as you used to.

Super thanks for the tips. . . especially Mr. Stengel's great one about discarding the master clip effects!

Thanks!

Stephen

Good tip. Had an idea that that may work, but never tried it.
