Hi everyone- silly questions, but where are people having luck finding milk crates these days? No more neighborhood dairies around here :-(

Google. More sources than you could possibly need.

Depending on your use, you might want to search for "coroplast containers."

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

I got 3 heavy duty milk crates on ebay for like $15 or $18 bucks, can't remember.
But they were black in color, and well worth the few dollars spent.

All the Best!

All good suggestions and thanks, everything from buying new ones and paying to ship them (¡ crazy !) to steeling them from behind the DQ! Love our business!

Isnt it stealing to snag them from behind a business? They are a durable good that gets reused.

Filmtools has them for like $19 brand new, i've been happy with them

Umm, so what are you doing with your milk crates, or shouldn't I ask? :)

Are you using them as cheap apple crates?

Crates are great for hauling around all sorts of junk and they pack well in a truck- stingers, wedges, etc. They don't weigh much, you can see what's in them, and dirt and water go through them. Just don't put your brand new Motorola Razr in one and expect it to stay there.

I've been using "Fresh Step" kitty litter buckets. They're sturdy as hell, come with a handle, and I actually need the cat litter, but they've recently changed the design to something less desirable.
Unfortunately they don't stack very well and you can't see the contents. But if you have a cat, they're sort of free.

Oh cool- is that Scott or Dean there? PM me a price please.

I got them at a WalMart superstore (grocery dept) I just grabbed one full of milk bags and bought it with my groceries. It came with free milk.
