Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Deanan has always been one of my very favorites at RED and I'm honestly really sorry to see him go. He always gave me straight, direct answers and never got irritated with my questions about things that were clearly way beneath his technical skill level.
Thanks for everything Deanan, and best wishes for your future.
A thought... if Deanan doesn't already have a firm plan in mind then perhaps he should consider being a consultant. Then RED could call on him when they come across a particularly vexing problem.
(Just trying to find a way to keep him connected to RED)
Without fail, Deanan has been there for me every single time I've needed help. Tiny commercial in 2007? Quarter-billion-dollar movie in 2011? Deanan has always been there and has always been there to fix what's broken... even when I'm a huge smart-ass. Heck, I've just spent the past six months on the other side of the planet and he's still up every single day and night [does he sleep?] with answers and/or wisecracks.
I can't thank Deanan enough for everything... and I'll continue to find ways to annoy him no matter what he ends up doing next.
Deanan, a big thank you and all the best for the future!
More and more people work for Red.com, but we will never forget the pioneers!
I wish you a bright and joyful future.
Happy New Year.
Marc
as everyone else has said, deanan is always there for us. he is so quick to respond to questions and/or issues. we'll miss you a lot dude. best of luck in 2012 and beyond!
Well, at 1st it sure comes across as sad news... but then, i believe Deanan is born to innovate & innovate he will!
Here's wishing him loads of luck & success...
Cheers ~
Sad news. I wish you good luck Deanan and I hope you come back to RED soon.
Deanan was REDs’ “TOP GUN” fighter pilot.
Attacking all the bugs and issues at the source. If he would mark all problems he fixed on the jet fighter fuselage the whole F18 would be covered over with kill markings.
Sincerely Very Best wishes for your future Deanan. Everyone has the right to take control and realize of their own future and I'm sure yours will be just rosy.
Its a fantastic new world out there with great opportunities as RED has shown. Your contribution to their success won't be forgotten.
