All:
Keeping in mind RED's "anything can change at any time" approach, RED has stated that they don't envision selling Scarlet-Dragons to the general non-upgrade public. If that holds true, and I choose the upgrade sensor path for my Scarlet-X, I would obviously want to change my business insurance to get the appropriate coverage for my new SD.
Given the above, what would be the replacement value for my new Scarlet-Dragon?? Insurance only cares about replacement or "closest to" values, so if no SD is sold through RED, then how am I going to get the appropriate coverage with my insurance?
Is SD worth the same as an Epic-X? Maybe, but then you can argue is a totally different camera and the closest to an SD would be Epic-Dragon, but insurance companies are too smart for that so they will probably pay for a standard Scarlet-X as replacement, which will be not acceptable for anyone.
Any ideas? Am I totally wrong here?
