The mission control iPad App introduced at last years NAB sounded great but I've seen nothing else of it. Is it still going ahead? Being able to create looks on an iPad sounded like a great idea and something the remote would struggle to offer due to form factor. It seemed to be relatively complete and didn't replace the functionality of the redmote so I'm wondering why it's not appeared yet?

My guess is that it's one of those "we got really close to finishing it but suddenly discovered how to make it 50 times cooler (but it'll take a bit longer)" kinda things. You know, like every other product they make ;)

Maybe, but given Redcine has always been a beta product I dont see why MC couldn't follow the same philosophy.

I'd just say there's more important things on their plate. And there's a lot of it.

Would that have been a Deanan project? If so, maybe it has to be reinvigorated after he left? Just a thought.

I too would love to see this released in the wild, even as an alpha experimental for play : )
