What happened to the Scarlet fixed lens?

[Felix K.]

It is. Jim said so.

Where? Link?

[Thatarot Choorattana]

someone ask Jim about 8x Fix Scarlet.

I know tonight is about what is...but is there any chance someone can give us a sense as to whether or not the 8x Fixed is still a possibility? The 120fps test footage from earlier this year is one of the sweetest things I've seen in recent memory, and I would love to be able to own the camera that produced that footage.

Congrats on Scarlet X...it really is a game changer : ).

Then he replied.

No 8X Fixed. We had terminal issues with the lens. If you are sad, just think about us. All those development dollars down the drain.

Jim

Scarlet X is a great camera, have a great lenses choice but I can't afford it.
Maybe should wait for second hand Scarlet X or Red 1?
