  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What happened to Element Technica?

I bought the V mount version right when it came out and it has also been rock solid even with all the different firmware updates over time. Its like it was built by RED.
I think if they came out with a few more they would sell them...

While I have no clue what RED's long term plans are for ET as a brand, the new DSMC2 V-Lock Module Pro (and GM) are essentially the refined battery modules that have the DC in, 2-pin AUX, and D-Tap. More or less approximately what the OG ET was.

As for ET gear in general, it's neat seeing it around town. Just saw a now "vintage" 19mm lens support from them. Personally all of my main dovetails are ET and will likely be for as long as those last (rest of my life).
