  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What EVF res. numbers are shipping now?

I can see the hand writing (GREEN PEN: says 777 and red and green dot) on a EVF cardboard box.
And sealed plastic cover was wrinkled and was looked like "the returned item", but it works fine so far.
At least I can find real serial number on EVF.
I've checked on the back of rubber stuff also.

So where IS the serial # anyway? I can't find it either.
 
Any chance we can get some numbers on this from RED? Big Jons delivery schedule is not saying that much. How many "hundreds" do you ship out pr month? They seem to arrive at a steady pace now. I thought I would have to wait a long time for my EVF but now I am not so sure? Not complaining or anything, this has been a positive surprise!
 
Hey guys, if you want to give people meaningful status about EVF delivery, don't just note your camera serial #. Tell us when your camera originally was shipped from RED or when you received it, as that is now the deciding factor as to how back-orders are filled.

#1110 still awaiting EVF -- camera delivered ~ May 12.

Exactly what I was thinking! #1731 still waiting, delivered May 15th.

Mark (#1545) said that his camera was delivered the Friday before NAB and he just got his. But there's no telling how many cameras were shipped between NAB and Mid/Late May.

mine was a 3.5 for 4 month wait between camera and EVF, but they are really picking up steam now

I just got my tracking number for my EVF !!!

Thanks everyone at Red for picking up the delivery of the EVFs and getting them all out so quick. Especially Randy for all his work and putting up with my emails.

EVF for RED #1110 is getting close - got my almost ready email yesterday. I originally received my camera about the middle of May (12th, I think).

Wow, something's wrong there. There is no way you took delivery before me because I got my camera way before even one camera in your group shipped. I should be soon if Jeff got his May 12th, because mine came in 3 days later.

When did you get your camera delivered? There is no way you could have beat mine since they weren't supposed to deliver any in your group until almost the end of May.
