  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What EVF res. numbers are shipping now?

RED # 1888 EVF arriving on Monday.

That is tough to pin down since there are a lot of variables. But, right now, I think it is safe to expect your EVF within about a month of taking delivery of your camera.

What about order the EVF separately later? How it works the estimate in that case?

(why you don't write on the Store the estimate delivery if we take the order Today?)

PS:what about the LCD ? I have ordered the LCD with The camera... should i aspect it together with the Camera?

May i ask which others accessories are not in Stock?

That is the current estimate, yes.

If you order the EVF later on and your delivery date is part of the group already being delivered, you will get in an EVF shipped in a week or so.

Depends what LCD you are talking about - the RED LCD is shipping real-time, the RED PRO LCD has not start shipping yet.

Note in the first email you get for your delivery batch will tell you inventory status of items.

Even if i have ordered the EVF at the same time of the Camera (February)i will have it 1 months later than the camera?

But if i will order the EVF after that my camera has been delivered i will have it in a week???

So can I interpret from all of this that the EVF is due about a month after the camera arrives, assuming it was ordered at the same time (I will be getting my camera on Tuesday the 19th)?

I am sorry but...it sounds weird.... : if i delete the EVF from my order (when i will get the email from RED) , and than after i got the camera , if i order the EVF i will have it in a week?

Guys it seem weird to me....i mean why i should confirm my EVF in the main order if that means that i have to wait a months (instead of order it the day after i got the camera (1 week...)

I will try to say it a different way....

Right now, you can expect to get your EVF about a month after your camera is delivered.

If you get your camera, do not have an EVF on order, and you order an EVF AFTER we have started delivering EVFs for your camera delivery date range, THEN it will ship in about a week. So, it only takes a week if we are already fulfilling EVF backorders for your delivery date range.

In a nutshell, it means another week on top the month - not a week instead of a month.
