Hi guys,

Today I noticed this strange oil like stuff on the sensor of the Komodo, definitely not there before ...

I barely look the sensor directly as I keep the Canon speed booster always attached.

I touched on the corner with a microfibre to see if its on the surface, but looks like is on back of the "glass".

Any idea what is that and what can be done to solve it?

Komodo always on Peli case with the Peli branded desiccant silica.

PS: Phil!! Help me!!

Hard to tell or know from the image, but I would contact RED support. It looks moisture related, but hard to tell. Maybe moisture and temperature perhaps.

I had one instance in 2020 where a lens leaked oil into my mount, which was a surprise, but this also doesn't exactly look like that.

Thank you Phil! Going to open a ticket to see how I can solve that.

I have submitted a ticket to RED support, just an additional picture to see if someone else can give me a light on this subject.

Also, I'll update this topic once RED solve the issue for a quick reference for people in the same situation.
