  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Weapon System Demo (Full Auto 120fps)

Bad move my friend. How long time ago? More than 60 years ago. History lesson number 1.

That picture should be 70 years old or more.

As Emanuel wisely said: travel to Germany and you'll see through your own eyes what does mean to live there nowadays. Same for Scandinavia or most part of old western Europe.

Hehe. I lived in Germany -- in a beautiful little town called Amberg in Bavaria -- for two years. I know and love the country well.

What does it matter if it was 60 years ago or 200 years? America has never fallen victim to fascist regimes like Europe has. So maybe our founding fathers knew something? Not to mention that many of our grandfathers died restoring your failed democracies, so we have to roll our eyes when Europeans try to lecture us about our Constitution. :sarcasm:

I don't care where you are, there are dangerous people out and about. So your saying that there aren't any crimes where you live, no murders. Wow you truly do live in a utopia.

I live in LA, which is one of the most gang laden areas in this country. To make matters worse I go into LA and shoot footage down there. Now I could be all scared about what might happen if I went down there or I could keep an eye out for trouble and have my Glock very close by. I don't let people take from me.
don't try to come here.. or you can risk your skin and be arrested for bringing your private gun.. or yet you can wish to not come back..

seems the rest of your answer is saying the whole thing.. may your God help you.. w/ guns?.. it doesn't seem you will find solution where you have the basis of your problem.

:) :)

Dude I almost laughed myself out of my chair. But lets be careful here. I would like to not have this thread closed.

Hehe... okay, I think it's time to bail out of this thread before armageddon... :)

Sad. You seemed a smart boy. ;)

This is not a soccer match between US vs EU. Although and only FYI Tom, your Constitution is daughter of the european tradition in Constitutional Law.

Maybe you think only your grandfathers had died for a peaceful world without guns?

Not at all. I just don't think it's fair for Europeans to come here and lecture us about our basic Constitutional rights. Try to look at it from our point of view.

Anyway, now that I have completely pissed off all my European friends here, I will resign myself from this debate. :umm:

drama is good for the screen.. as someone already said.. this is not united states vs. europe.. and about the constitutional argument.. i'd say it's more industry propaganda than their real concern about your constitutional rights..

Yeah, I'll listen to YOU talk about OUR Constitutional rights. Okay.

I've been over to Europe before and I didn't need to bring my gun. Its just my preferred weapon.

I don't believe in god and the way I live my life right now has brought me nothing but joy and entertainment.

Wish I could give some more info about the clip but no one has asked a question about it. I am looking forward to the next one I'm going to be doing for Adams Arms.

I can't believe that someone should be so afraid of freedom and personal responsibility for their own well being and that of their loved ones as to hate and find offensive the very tool of their safety.

If you are truly safe in your little old world hobbit holes, it is because some one else takes up the responsibility of ensuring your safety for you. Someone with a gun or a tank or a missile launcher or a nuclear program. Someone you don't know. Someone who's face you don't have to see. Some of you live in historically indefensible space and so your safety is assured by treaty's and ally's that have bigger guns.

Your safety is assured through a firearm of some sort. Its just too bad you don't know who holds it, what they believe, and whether or not they give a damn about you personally. You never know, they may just put you in an oven because some one higher up the chain told them too.

I grew up 25 miles from a small town. I've seen wild animals take livestock and have killed them for it. I have been run off government land by squatting pot farmers, and have fired warning shots at people who have come to rob me. I come from a place where animals are killed and eaten, where people are 98% good but 2% will kill you and it only takes 1. The police response time is 1\2hour min typical is 3+hours sometimes not at all. This is my culture. This is the life that I understand.

I grew up with guns and target shooting with my dad, to me there is nothing different between a 357 magnum or a Kimber 45acp at the range and a round of English darts. aim small, miss small. I want to see a world without hate and violence. To me a gun is just a beautifully crafted piece of machinery.

I have more of a problem with boxing than I do with guns. At least with a gun you hope to God you never have to use it on a human being. With boxing you intentionally beat someone brain dead for the enjoyment of the masses.

I'm glad you guy's feel safe in your prospective counties, but ask Ketch Rossi what its like to be shot and robbed in your own home. He knows

No, you can't have my gas powered, piston driven, slingshot says David to Goliath, that just would not be fair.

I know that we have a difference of opinion and perspective so I'll make you a deal. If you never enter my house late at night with ill intent, you'll never see my guns, and you can go on living happily as if they don't exist.

peace out

You don't have to close the thread this will be my last ranting post in it. Drew deserves to have his work seen as he did a good job.

Yeah, I'll listen to YOU talk about OUR Constitutional rights. Okay.
if this is only a problem of YOUR constitutional rights, so you can always change your constitutional content.. if every sovereignties have done it.. why not you too?

Well put, Stephen!

That is just it. Folks who expect that the government will take care of them are willing to place themselves in its care. Even to the point of giving up their rights to own protective devices, such as a firearm.

This is an emotional argument for most.

The base truth is that the government will not be there when it really matters; during a natural disaster, hurricane or earthquake. Those of us who are emergency responders know this. THERE WILL BE NO HELP FOR DAYS MAYBE WEEKS in the event of a bad disaster. Human nature will take over and you will be forced to fend for yourself and your loved ones. Only the prepared will make it. That includes being prepared not to have your emergency food and water stolen by thugs.

Good luck to those of you who have already decided that the "authorities" will take care of everthing.

Some of us know better.

Oh, and to keep this thread "on topic": Drew, do you prefer natural lighting or HMIs when you work out on semi-auto? :)

Great post Verticeus,

See this is what blows my mind, that people don't want to take care of themselves. Instead they want the government to clean up after them and to hold their hand because these people aren't grown up enough to take care of themselves.

I've already said it before but look at what happened during the LA riots. That wasn't even an act of nature...that was just people acting like animals. Now that I think about it animals would have maybe had more respect. But people were on their own to defend themselves. There were no cops doing their jobs because they were scared. People just become to complacent in their little lives to realize how quickly things could change to where you are on your own and for quiet some time.

On the topic of lighting. It was all natural light that I used in this clip. If it was in doors then I would have to think about that question.

Well, I have a friend who is a first responder. (they get called to jump on a C5 transport to go anywhere in the States, or the World when needed). He was in the Astrodome as the second team to get there after Katrina. As a nurse, his team was involved in taking care of the people. Within about 16 hours of getting there, his team was pulled out quietly by the National Guard (who got out too) as the people they were trying to help were getting restless, the worst elements were preying on the others and anyone in the vicinity was at risk. Now this is a guy who is PC 832 trained and never goes anywhere without his .45ACP. He said that the mood in there was the worst thing that you could ever imagine.

There will always be this element that preys on the weak. If there are none of us prepared to help, who will help those who are at most need, the elderly, the young when the sh** hits the fan? Obviously, not the weak ones who think that guns are "icky"!

OK, I am out of this one. I just could not let your artistic work take the brunt of some out there who would rather not think about the fact that little birds are sometimes pushed out of the nest by their siblings in the course of a little thing called "instinctual survival". In some, it has apparently been bred out of the DNA.

The world is what you make of it. Your "content" does not negate the work you did.
