What are we seeing during live output, full or 1/2 debayer, what about playback? Would love an OFFICIAL word

That's why I want an official word, because nobody agrees

Cool that's what I suspected too. Prores looks cleaner in playback than the r3d, which got me thinking.

Thanks!

Sdi full debayer 8bit on live feed and half on playback is what im told.

Another question regarding playback. How do I get it to playback with applied luts? Same luts That was used when record / the lut that is put into the r3d folder. So far I have not been able to play with lut.

Secondly on the same subject. Would be nice. if the files showed up by default with lut in redcine, resolve etc if there is a lut in the r3d folder, no?

Full answer.

"The monitoring path converst RAW sensor data to a while balanced 12-bit 1920x1080 RGB 4:4:4 video signal. The signal may be modified using ISO, White Balance, or other RGB color space adjustments. The signal is then scaled and gamma corrected to provide monitor outputs at 10-bit depth in 4:2:2 YCC or 8-bit depth in 4:4:4 RGB."

HD-SDI can handle 10-bit LIN or LOG encoded data.

HDMI is the "other".

Live Feed = Full debayer

Playback = 1/2 Debayer

I think I've got that right. Could be crazy though.

Boy that would be nice, it is not possible as of now. My workaround isri have the same lut loaded on the Flanders monitor for playback. ALSO would love for the lut to have to option to burn into the prores files.
