  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

VMount Help for Scarlet

You have to wire?

Not just wire, international wire. Which they claim is to "Save us money". But at $40 a transfer on an $800 purchase it works out to be about the same... they just save themselves money. :P

How do those batteries seem to be working? On paper they look like a great alterative to the red bricks. Hopefully thats the case!

Just to update about Globalmediapro, I'm glad you guys got your batteries quickly -- on their site they said "In Stock" and estimated 4-5 days until delivery (to the US). After I wired them the money they gave me a SHIP date (not delivery) of 10 days later. I complained about the discrepancy, but I'm still waiting. YMMV.

Sounds like they must have run out of stock. But one thing I can say is that they said mine would arrive in about 5-6 days and it took about 2. So sometimes they're are overly cautious on their estimates.

Nope, they were always listed as "In Stock," right underneath "United States | Delivery: 2-3 days by UPS." Turns out they shipped today (from China -- just cause GMP is in NZ doesn't mean they ship from there). We'll see about transit time... would love to have them by this weekend.

Does anyone know if the Globalmediapro SCA2S 2-channel Charger/ AC Adaptor would work with the Red XLR POWER CABLE (30”)? And if instead of the charger being plugged to the wall socket it would get the power from the batteries. Essentialy if it would work both ways, as a charger from the socket, and as power supply from the batteries, thus not being necessary to had a v-mout plate to the camera? And if not this one, if any other charger from other brand would do this.
