  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Vladimir Eugene

Thanks guys, it was an awesome shoot. Justin kept everything flowing, and made sure these great pics got taken. Ari Robbins flew the EPIC , he used the thumb dial to change settings faster than it took me on the touch screen.

What's that funky slider / dolly / tripod thing? Who makes it?

Vlad, thanks for the photo's please keep us updated, and enjoy your Epic!

Does the EPIC need the side handle attached to function? If not, wouldn't it be best to remove for Steadicam work? It looks like the op had no problems with balancing though...
Just thinking out loud...

the op had no problem, I believe he prefered to navigate menu from the side handle, but yes, the side handle is removable

The side handle really doesn't add much weight.
I just finished a job that was 2 days on the steadi and we left it on for convenience and menu navigation as well.
