When you have a spare 5 minutes it would be great to read how the new version holds up. Needless to say there are a lot of us sitting by waiting and on the verge of abandoning ship...don't think it will take much for the evacuation to take place...one more problem could be enough.

I will tell you this much... If this version of the setup doesn't work then I'm going to return it and get my money back. I've waited long enough for this system and I'm not going to wait another month or six for some fixes or a new/revised motor design again.

whoops....

So Curt, any updates? Xmas is coming soon and I really would like to have your product in my hands before January...

Now it's 10 days from last CVB post... Are we going back to the same old way or do you (CURT) think to give us an update?
This is post #2612, how many interesting post in the last thousand? 20?

Well it seems the wait is finally over... but you never know... I am waiting until January, and thats it for me... I hate complaining but this is definitely beyond my patience... I think any sane people would have cancelled long time ago. Obviously, if I had known last summer that this product would take close to 2 years for delivery, I would never have ordered the unit. But I guess since we have the choice to cancel the order, we can't complain... Just keep us updated. I think everyone here deserves it and we are getting tired of waiting.

well hopefully the wait is worth it.
I'm number 40 and have had emails for about a year saying we'll ship next week.
Amazing how patient one can be, but come on... oh its coming now... wait... wait... no its coming now... wait... wait... no really its coming now... wait wait wait... oh its been 2 years

Hi Pawel,

how did you go with your own wireless FF that you were building ?

Cheers,
Tim

G'day Tim,

It is working and very inexpensive. Mike Hastings of Aquavideo has my drawings and will be offering them commercially, I believe. The solution is mostly for underwater, jib or aircraft application. It is a bit noisy and adjusting the range is a tedious process. For "do it all" I think Bartech offers the best value for money, it is available and reliable. Jim responded to my enquiries promptly and professionally.

Just finishing up the parts now. I will post some pictures on a new thread in the next few days.

You're right, Curran :-) Looks like it was sent as "economy" package (probably to save money) so I'm guessing it's being sent here by truck or something. The FedEx website initially said that it would be delivered here yesterday, but now it says it's status is "unknown".

My delivery took about 3 weeks.. it stayed for two weeks within Dutch customs.

We're using it right now with the Red zoom lenses (18x50 mm and 50x150 mm) and it works fine.
