Carlo, I think 64 or 65, which means I´ll get it about 8 months before you get yours.
A friend of me had a Birger number in the 700´and got it already with the Impero. Who knows what happens next. At least some words above from CVB.
Cheers,
Marc

hi! does anyone here mean it´s a good idea when i buy a inclino/origo set ? when do you think will i get the unit when i order and pay for it NOW ???
greetz from vienna/austria, norbert

Norbert,
My guess would be mid- to late October. So about 6 weeks from now....

Hi Marc,
are you speaking about Impero/Inclino or Birger? I was referred only at VFS products... I'm not a believer usually but this time I think will be both served before next xmas.
I'll be @ IBC next week and I hope to be able to see an Impero/Inclino system in the ET booth, may be a 3D full kit. Curt?

I guess my question was rhetorical. :violin:

Now you're getting it! That's the right attitude.

And Michael, who said that 10% of the backlog was filled? That's hard to believe. I am #15 or #16 (not sure whether it's by motor or controller), and am as yet unfulfilled.

Don't plan to have your unit for any job until it is in your sweaty hands and functional. Expect the unexpected! :grouphug:

Sweet... So that means not even 15 units have left Viewfactor yet?! Whats going on Curt (for real this time)?

Well i finally got my refund from Viewfactor.

Be aware other buyers from europe, if you are asking for a refund, you should know that you will get a cheque in dollars. Even though i paid on a card, not a credit card, a debit card so the payment came straight from my bank account.

I then had to pay £160.00 ( $264.00 ) for various fees to various banking systems for the pleasure of converting the cheque back into GBP. Something i feel should have been covered by VF to be honest, but i suppose sending a cheque is an easy way of getting out of that one.

From requesting the refund to it actually happening took about 4 weeks, and 16+ days to respond to my emails asking for the refund.

Basically i had the pleasure of helping to fund the VF business with couple of thousand dollars which took over 16 months before i finally caved in and asked for a refund.

Every time i look at this forum and see again and again, Kurts empty promises and missed deadlines, i can't believe how resilient we all have been, and supportive, to an end.

As for me, i am spending a few quid on a another system. From a company that will show me some respect and appreciate my business that i will get a decent level of customer service from, as well as a decent working product.

Wish all you guys and gals best of luck.

I didn't, I said less than 10%. Nobody knows because CVB is apparently fulfilling Birger's orders first and appears to be filling VF orders is a non-specific manner (or if there is a method to the madness, is not sharing it).

With all the talk of ramping up production, there are still very few units out there. And those that are out there, are hobbled by firmware that does not have all of the advertised functionality.

Hi Robert,

You need a dollar account then you can pay in the cheque without any costs, I am sure you will need the dollars again.

Thanks stephen

Bit moot that.... BTW is it hard getting around these days as a "veteran of motion control"?

last time i phoned...2 weeks ago...Curt was saying that he was swapping the 32 tooth gear for a 40 tooth gear as the former did not have the torque for some of the stiffer lenses out there...

as far as birger...thats just the remote...they have been ready for a while...it's the motors that are the real holdup

I still think i will be lucky to get mine before christmas (ordered August 08)...it would make a nice christmas present though:)

I have just given up predicting when, the money is long gone and when it happens it happens...i guess:undecided:
