  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Actually, you are right. I'm wrong. I was thinking of something different.

I think the lens data is just profiles of different lenses.

The Pro version was going to be able to save the actual focus pulls so you can repeat them. Sorry.

I believe it can save focus pulls - as far as I know they've posted a video showing it?

I think that's too late this has already become one. Ship dates have been missed numerous times, no updates on the current status. You mean to tell me there's no room for a 5 minute post? The slightest update would be good news....

Trust me guys....Curt is doing a freak'n great job compared to Mr Carrion....!
I'm one of those guys who has been waiting for 6+ months for Mr Carry-on, 7 weeks ago i was told it was shipping the next day, still nothing.....and not one email, no postings, absolutely nothing....!!!
I feel way more comfortable with Curt and his crew and his regular up dates.
I'm happy for Curt to take his time, the regular communications keep me happy enough to know what is happening with the progress of the product and that basically the guy still exists......!
For all i know Mr Carry-on is on a beach in the Bahama's with my coin and everyone elses, sipping on Mai Tai's....!
Curt keep up the good work, take your time to get your product right.....

On December 23 Curt told us "We have 40 motors assembled and about 16 Imperos."
And now on January 2 John writes in the VF forum "The features we are adding is hardware based and as such must be worked out before the product is shipped."

Sorry, but I don't get it. They first build a lot of items and then they decide to add some more hardware features? :umm:

My confidence is decreasing...

Does anyone know what the latest update is. I know the holidays has probably delayed everything further, but christmas day was the last check on the website to be sent out. Anyone receive anything yet? Are there any new updated?
Would be great to know whether we will be getting these soon. Thanks.

Hate to say that but this is getting worst then "Birger Lens Mount Reservations". 68 post.... no deliveries, Now no communication... No disrespect to anyone, Haven't we all about had enough of this BS...

Stevesherrick was absolutely right ..."Communication is huge. That's what our business is built on. We communicate ideas, we express ourselves. People don't have a lot of money to throw around anymore and they are going to be more selective about which products they buy. If you don't communicate they will go elsewhere."
 
Please. It's Monday, January 5, 2009.

What is going on? It's been months of "it's about to ship . . ." and then silence.

Has anyone received theirs yet?
 
This is becoming more and more wierd. Just tried to log into my account in the VF store and got an "Access denied" script execution error. I e-mailed Curt on Dec. 29th and haven't heard back from him. He usually answers within a day or two... What is going on!?
