From the Variety review of Che (Parts 1 and 2):

"Part one is impressively shot with crystalline clarity in widescreen, while part two downsizes to the 1.85 aspect ratio to tell the theoretically more intimate story of Che’s decline and fall ...

Soderbergh, who as usual lensed under the nom de camera of Peter Andrews, used the new RED digital camera, and the result is highly promising."

Go Steven, go RED!

I hate when people break into French for 2 words...so pretentious.

I thought that pun was quite fitting, with Che being the main character.

Anyway, here in Norway a trade magazine mentions the Red, and they somehow manage to say that while the Red body is cheaper than film, equipment such as lenses costs "as much or more" than film. They go on as to how complicated the post process is.

You know, the usual uninformed bs...
