Has anyone loaded this build on their V Raptor yet and seen what it does??
Would love to, but Im in the middle of a job and worried about field testing new builds in real world productions...

I'm prepping for my next shoot and my 2nd V-Raptor arrived today. Loaded up this firmware into both cams, both RED/smallHD 7" monitors on Page OS 5 release as well. 4 hours in no issues, but tomorrow I'll be doing some side by sides and all that. Firmware-wise, no issues so far.

I dont think you should upgrade in the middle of a job. Just too risky, what if you get an odd errors that very few others have or that one of your settings change without you noticing. I had that happen ages ago with Red Epic where timecode silently broke in a build and I did not notice it until it was too late (display was ok, but the data was not).

Any real changes from 1.3.3 beta or is this essentially a release version of said firmware?

Been running 1.3.3 beta since I got my camera a couple of weeks ago and loving the results so far. AF still feels buggy though (randomly goes to infinity and won’t come back), keen to see if 1.3.4 helps with that.

Sync or Drift?

How is the TC Sync'd as well?

A few frames of drift here and there according to the editor. I haven’t had a chance to dig into it too much.

Same thing with files from 2 different soundies on the same shoot, both syncing the camera with Tentacle. Everything set up the same way as always. I had a scratch feed recording on the camera, so have managed to correct it using that. Not a huge problem, but obviously far from ideal.

Just to confirm Im seeing the same thing on my V Raptor with this build... And foot note on previous builds I have been out of sync as much as 3 or so frames. The post people transcoding some interviews brought it to my attention. Strangely it is not always the same out of sync... some clips have 1 or 2 frames and others are 1/2 a frame out and then some are 3 or almost 4 out of sync. The 3 or 4 out of sync was as I said previous builds..
This caused my editor to go back to earlier interviews with the Monstro and found similar sync issues but on a much less amount and usually only 1/2 or 1 frame out on the Monstro..
On this smaller doco project I even did a slate and could easily see on the most recent (this )build was out by 1 frame...
This is running a 416 Senheiser 48vlt fantom power coming from camera directly cabled in to the camera audio port. And a redundant wireless on the number 4 channel with a lav... So not channel or external system issue. Cable directly in to camera...

I don't feel it has much if anything to do with the TC... more of a delay of the video from the audio..by the 1 or 2 frames...is what Im seeing
