Upgrade to Epic

[Sam Edwards]

Hey Folks,
Has Red ever discussed the possibility of upgrading our Scarlets to Epic? Seems like it would make great business sense. It would give them a supply of BT Scarlets to get people in at an even lower price point. It would also give us an easy path to the camera we all really want!
cheers,
Sam
PS I hope the Epic owners don't think this is a stupid thread.

...or how about 24fps at the 5k Sensor FOV...they tease us with the larger sensor size with our Scarlets 8fps at 5k

that's my only wish...and maybe 96fps @ 2K

...Loving my scarlet, but I can wish

I've thought about this as well Sam as an Epic is in my game plan. However, I think since people can sell used Scarlet X right now pretty easily you could likely get more cash towards an Epic that way. However, if the Dragon upgrade is actually coming it may be safer to hold on to the Scarlet until we see what that improves on both systems.
