Upgrade Protocol?

Hey all!

I'm planning to upgrade my Scarlet-W order to an Epic-W, but I've never done an upgrade through Red before. People are talking about staying up until midnight on the 11th to do the upgrade, but I'm wondering what that even involves. Will there be a purchase option on the Red store, and you just add to cart like normal? How do these things usually work?

From what I understand, the upgrades will be there for people with cameras, so if you are dsmc1 wanting to go Epic-W or weapon, or Scarlet-W/Weapon MG wanting to go helium. For Scarlet-W deposits just tell your rep to change it to Epic-W. I could be wrong but this is what I've understood.
I'm have a deposit for Scarlet-W and was told to inform my rep after the announcement about the change to Epic-W (since the timestamp carries over).

This is my understanding as well. The folks in the most stress free position are Scarlet-W deposit-paid waiters. From day one, Brent says, tell your rep what you want to do. I'd also make sure your financing is ready to go. This is true whether your deposit was directly through Red or a dealer. The day I knew I was going to do it, I contacted my dealer, paid for the accessories I wanted (since the Scarlet-W package was going away). Word is that as far as my dealer goes, I'm set. I just need to pay the actual upgrade price which is generally known to be $10K, but is still waiting for a specific item number and exact price within the system. So if I were you, I'd be contacting your rep immediately on Monday morn.

I'm a SW preorder as well and I contacted my rep a few days ago. He told me that once the announcement has been made just to give him a shout to proceed the order. I'm still wondering when the announcement will happen too.
