For further assistance regarding a purchase such as this, especially if you are unclear about the process, it might be a good idea to reach out to your Bomb Squad Representative or contact Red via email.

The general process is you purchase your upgrade, send your Scarlet-X MX in, then it gets evaluated (mainly to see if the camera is perfect operating condition), then your new Epic-X Dragon will arrive. As for turn around time and availability, I would contact your BS Rep.
