Update - we are pleased to announce the release of DaVinci Resolve 11 public beta 2 to our new support web site.

There are full licensed versions for Mac, Windows and Linux OS. These are no charge upgrades for existing customers. Also available on the web site at no charge are DaVinci Resolve Lite for Mac and Windows.

For new users or system up-graders, please refer to the new configuration guides for Mac, Windows and Linux.

New items in this beta include;
A New Deliver Page preset for “Video Sharing Export” - ideal for client previews etc
Ability to perform deck capture to QuickTime Uncompressed, ProRes (Mac and Linux) and DNxHD
Support for FCPX 10.1.2 XML (FCPX v1.4)
Encode and decode support for Apple ProRes 4444 XQ on Mac and Linux
Added AAF import zoom support for 3D Warp effect
Added ability to specify 'Timeline Name' as file name during renders
Improved H.264 rendering color compatibility
Improved shadow recovery
Improved DNG decode for some still image RAW images

Are there any plans for Alchemy/Clarity support for R3D files or RAW files in general?

Good to see the "Improved shadow recovery" but wondering why DVR, like so many cine grading tools, lacks the power of LightRoom's Highlight and Shadow recovery slider tools. Adobe Camera Raw is in a league of its own and it's only 2 dudes writing the code

Peter, any word on how your engineers are getting on with the DRAGON tests I sent you regarding the color match feature?

Does it support DragonColor and REDgamma 4?

Hoping to know when it will be possible to shift/switch displays around - so where the primary viewer is. It is always forced to the left screen in dual monitor mode, there seems to be no way to have the viewer on the right monitor. Have I missed something...?

Thanks.

Has anyone tried to ingest an FCPXML and output a regular XML or EDL with DR11?

Speaking of which, how is the FCPXML synchronized clip support in DR11?

Thanks for keeping us updated.

I find it a great option to have. Considering that I can suggest this to my students and have not a bad feeling that they have to buy the app to learn it.
