  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Shawn, were you able to correct the clipping using software? Just curious to see if this can be adjusted or is just blown out?

I just came back from a meeting where I secured a contract to produce some nice cinematic loops for a network of HD displays.
I'll have to get this done in the next few weeks before I get my REDs.
Why oh why didn't I get in a really early reservation like you did?
 
Yep, Shawn brings the goods. Its nice to see, that a not yet full time pro shoots the best pix so far. I'm very happy for you Shawn, I can see your career starting right now...

I didn't want to, I wanted to hold it where it's at. I wanted to have the same exposure and settings for both the match strike and the light (a 1k fresnel).

Yep, that was a tree behind me. How far am I? Lol, I am leaning against it! That's right, the DOF is so short it can make what you're leaning against soft and beautiful :-). We pulled tape from my nose to the focus hook.

Again, I wanted the same settings from the match strike through to the other half, to show the range. It's possible it wasn't blown out.

Vanilla Black Cavendish, a very good bowl :-) When I mentioned my idea for this shoot Ken replied that pipes were "nasty smelling" but after I lit this bowl up he talked about how good it smelled.
