  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Teaser for U2's Invisible just landed during the Super Bowl, full video released in a few days.

Shot on a small army of RED EPIC MONOCHROME cameras by the mighty Mark Romanek.

 
a teaser of Transformers 4, dragon was used.

The Monochrome Epic is incredible. The Dragon Monochrome... is downright unreal.
 
Why is the monochrome so unreal? I'll have to check one of these out one day. I'm plenty happy with the colored image.

Texture and detail if you're curious. It's a lovely pure resolution tonal thing. Gains in low light performance, which is neat. Just feel like rich tonal goodness overall.

This was a massive production shot out here in LA at the Santa Monica Airport.

Can't wait to see the whole thing.

And I believe you, also what ever part you played with Mono... My hats off to the all team... It just blew mi mind first time I turned it on...

Now... Dragon Monochrome... I'll just have to make sure I'll be seating down and tightly strapped before firing that baby up... ;)
 
The U2's are my favourite band. They have used my favourite camera. The only thing missing is my favorite girl, but my wife wasn't available :-)
 
I think the Coke ad was shot on red epic too?
