  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Turbo Ace AllSteady 7 stabilizer with up to 20 pounds payload challenges the Ronin

Price is dropped down to $3595 already and you get a free water proof case when it comes in 1-2 months. The AllSteady material cost is very high and it is in a separate class from the Ronin.

Please be more specific.

I almost jumped on the Kickstarter but could never get straight answers on specs. Glad I didn't. Saved a bunch of cash. Anyway, while 20lb load is impressive, anyone here going to actually operate at that load?

We love our Allsteady. The build quality is truly great. They need a better way to deal with the battery - but thats my only issue. It is easy to balance and worked out of the box. We love the heavy build and feel it will allow more heavy use than other options.

The team at TurboAce has answered every question and continued to upgrade the unit. Before you judge - might be a good idea to pick one up and see how it works.

Have to say it seems like a lot of jealous posts lol.

That is human nature. Anyone who has bought into one of the systems may at some point of time have the buyers remorse when some new, better, lighter, cheaper version arrives. Some people tend to attack other products by trying to point out deficiencies. So nothing to be worried about. Ultimately it's a tool to shoot good films. So just go ahead and post your shots so that others can appreciate. I would love to see atleast a mirror test.

Good to know.
