Hey guys, would be cool if you shared what tripods you use with your Red Ones and how it works out for you? Thank you.

Thanks Mark. I was more curious what all the new "BT R1" owners are using because there are a lot of new owners who seem to be "indies coming from the dslr world" and people that are on a tight budget, as myself![]()

I'm actually leaning towards the MILLER ARROW 55, I wonder if anyone knows the practical difference between these two:

Different CF sticks, but does anyone have any input which one to get?
Thanks..
I've been using the Miller Arrow 55 head with my Red One cameras since August 2007, and with Epic cameras since February 2011. With lightweight Epic loads I also use my two other Miller heads - the Compass 25 (supports 8 to 32 pounds) and Compass 15 (supports 4 to 21 pounds). With the Arrow 55 and Compass 25 heads I use both the Miller Sprinter II mid spreader CF 2-stage legs, and the Miller Solo 1505 CF spreaderless legs. With the Compass 25 head I use the Solo CF 2-stage spreaderless legs.
I love Miller heads and legs! In my opinion they provide the best cost to performance ratio available...
In answer to your question, the package with the Sprinter II legs is the better of the two - because the Sprinter II legs are lighter.
