  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Transfer to dealer and Price increase.

I transfered my Raven preorder to a dealer (Goecker) in Denmark. A lot easier with financing! But in reality my bomb squad just cancelled my order and told me to tell the dealer that I had a pre-order already. So guess I lost my place in the line. I asked the dealer if they could make a pre-order from their end and maybe they did - I am not sure how their system work. So my concern now is that I will receive the camera later and more that the price will be higher, since Jarred mentioned the price increase. What do you guys think? I read that others actually got to transfer their preorder to dealer.
 
Seams like there must be quite a lot of ways to get financing for a camera that cost 5k. Is it not possible trough a normal bank and still keep the camera in your name?

Well, the package is more than 5k. There are other ways of course, but their deal with leasing and insurance works great for me.
 
I would double check with your bomb squad rep and the dealer. As long as it is pre-ordered you should get the current price even if you don't get your camera until after the price hike. At least that is how Red has generally done it in the past.

Hey, yeah I spoke to them (Goecker) about your issue since I'm also considering transferring my order at CVP in the UK to them since I live here in Cph. I brought your post to their attention and explained that CVP was honoring the original
prices and time stamp, and Goecker assured that they would be able to offer both of us the same. So I made the transfer to them a few days ago. He also assured me you would be getting a Raven from their first batch of 8 units, and promised me the same. So with the vlock expanders back order being caught up on the 8th, I'm anticipating to see our cameras arrive there between the 11th-14th. He said normal speeds are 24 hours when units are in stock from LA to CPH. Fingers crossed :)
