I apologize laguun that was uncalled for on my part. I guess I just felt like I was being used to goad RED into a response which I hadn't appreciated.

Rob do you have any time tables for when you intend to lock down the r3d spec? Are we looking at weeks? Months? Or when the war on terror ends and the RED camera is 'done'?

the big thing currently is audio, I'll have a better idea when that's all done and said. I think we're still tweaking the interleaving between the audio & video.

hey, no problem - internet forums make it quite easy to misinterpret subtle intentions, and then there is the language barrier (english is my 3hrd language, so my wording certainly isn´t to precise).

i don´t do politics in forums - i state my opinion and pretty precisely - and can be a tough cookie when doing so

i suppose all the different framerates make audiointerleaving not much easier as well...

if you are also considering adding different datarates as has been hinted - that would certainly worth another delay before specs can be locked down (in my humble opinion).

and please rob, don´t get me wrong - i expressed cleary that i do think certain strategies red is doing right now for the post aren´t the best solution, i however fully understand that good r&d takes lots of time.

how was that saying regarding coding: "you can have 9 women, but you won´t get the baby in the month"...
