I just came across this beta version of 5DtoRGB which has the option to convert to proress: :yesnod:

As far as I can see it works, but perhaps anyone with a mac and pc can confirm the converted movies work on both platforms

It apparently works on Win7 64bit. However, it only supports mov, mts, and mp4.

It exports: ProRes 422 HQ and several variants.

I don't know if it has resolution constraints though.

I've been using ffmbc to transcode to ProRes...and it supports pretty much everything (except .r3d). Typically I export a v210 .avi from Premiere, then run a batch file that automatically converts it to ProRes HQ. It's amazingly fast too!
