Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
That new baseplate design is going to be awesome, especially for a camera this compact.
...to be able to quickly release the camera and lens from the bulk of the baseplate, rods, matte-box, etc...
It means that between setups you've got something as compact as a DSLR, to use as a viewfinder to find shots - handed to the director, etc.
It will be very, very liberating, especially if you've got a REDvolt battery on board - the brick can be left behind with the baseplate/ rod system, then plugged back in easily once the new shot is being set up.
Yep, Given that it means you can fully take advantage of the light weight and compact size of the EPIC whenever you want, that baseplate will be revolutionary.
