  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

TOIA & EPIC kill a spare 5 minutes.

The RPP 300mm is the single most under appreciated lens in the world. :-)

Jim

All of your lenses are mate!

I have backed up your RED PRIMES with Arri's Ultra Primes a number of times.. I cant see any difference whats so ever!... Other than the price!

Another cool little bit- shooting at 2K essentially turns your 300mm into a 600mm lens :)

Haha, that shot of the Canon guy is so apropos. :)

Absolutely amazing footage Mark. Thank you for taking the time to share it.

Great footage Mark.

I agree with you, the RPP are very under-rated and I think they are amazing, couple that with some talent behind the camera.

Shows what you can do with 5 minutes, a great camera and a talent.

Keep it up :-)

Awesome shots, thanks for sharing. I used to surf that break every day growing up - now not so much - makes me want to get back out there.

Yes, it's a really nice little break!
I'm going to head down there one day when it's pumping!!!
Shoot some big boy stuff!

This is some of the sexiest footage I have ever seen. My brain has known for some time that the Epic is the single greatest camera ever invented...seeing this footage has just confirmed this is the case for my heart as well. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Good stuff Mark, keep up the good work. How about Teahupoo 300 fps with a water housing? I cant wait to get an Epic in the surf.

Mark you've just convinced me to order my first RPP, a 300mm BT. I sold my Nikon 300 ED/IF several years ago and have kicked myself ever since. At least now when the Epic-X arrives, it will have some PL glass. Going to be rather odd though, showing up on set and shooting way far away from everyone. "What's his problem? Is he anti-social?"

Had a good laugh at the fellow with the Canon, that was funny.

I'm just amazed at how the Titanium mount can hold that glass without any further support.

Great job, Mark.

At the end of the day. you only need three lenses, the 17-50 the 50-150 and the 300.... you can go shoot an awesome movie with those 3 lenses.

Thanks for sharing Mark. Footage looks awesome :)

I was also astounded that a 300mm could sit straight on the mount with no further support! Is there any flex?

Not a single tiny bit... that titanium mount is bad ass!!!!!
