  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Titanium R?

now there are contracts? wait a second..i thought all we had to do was hand in our reservation forms to get the R's? I'm number #813 and i still haven't gotten a confirmation on my reservation, but i get all the RED e-mails...
 
Isn't Kelly the best? She's processed all these R's by hand herself!

Hey Kelly! Thanks for being so responsive to all us R-less bums. I assume that my second R is in the recently sent batch? I'm only concerned because Fed Ex leaves them at the door, and the office was closed last week. I'm still out of town, but the Secretary said she's seen no R's laying about.

I'll call you when I get back in town too.

I will resend your contract... sign it and email it to redcore@red.com and I will send your pretty little R that I am looking at right now ;)

I have your #816 here... but I do not have the contract that goes with it. Please sign and email back to redcore@red.com and I will send it your way!

So I was helping Kelly get the rest of the Titanium R's out today. She asked me to photograph all of the boxes containing R's that she has NOT received signed contracts back for. As you can see there are a lot of boxes waiting to go to their new homes!

I got in Titanium R's #916-#1015 today and I shipped out all of them that I have a contract for. Sooooo... if you are in that range of serial numbers and you don't get yours in the next week or two... send your contract! Gracias Amigos!
 
Looks like 161 of them based on my extremely crude effort at counting (approx. 20 sec.).

So, what happens to those R's where people don't step forward with the contract or decide not to follow through?

Briferg, I'm wondering what will come of the interview footage you shot at the Red LA screening?

Well it is part of the Red archive. I have been shooting interviews and B-roll as an continuing document of the Red history. Trying to capture the moments so we remember the road we traveled. As many of you know you can't have too much footage to choose from when you go to edit.

Also thanks to all who have taken a few moments to come from behind the camera and give some thoughts in front of ours. Can't wait till I am doing it with the production version of Red!

Hmm. I sent it on November 2. Did you get my second zoom contract (sent 11/9)?

I'll re-fax the one. Let me know about the zoom.
