  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Time Tank... 2 years later

Verrrry Nice.

It's absurd how this is a 720p image, yet it's only a 4th of the native resolution.

I love that you can use the mini primes AND the RED PRO lenses on it.

Perhaps it is because it was a prototype with the Scarlett 2/3 sensor and not the definitive Scarlett???

Perhaps...

Why should they have a 2/3 chip with a S35 mount... Who knows?:sorcerer:

Pat

All cameras with the interchangeable mounts have interchangeable mounts. No reason you couldn't put the PL mount on the 2/3" and I believe they even said you could.

Now where as that post.......

You can put a Nikon mount on the 2/3", I know that. It would make sense for anything else as well. You certainly won't be able to get any wide angles with them, but they could work.

PL mount of 2/3" makes S16 glass come into play, which is why they will offer the PL mount for the Scarlet 2/3. The FAQs in the scarlet section state that the mount is available.

that's not bad Jarred

thanx ..... music for my eyes :w00t:

that's not the reason we did it.. but definitely is a side benefit.

Awesome...bet it does you ego good having so many cinematographers, DOP's, Videographers, Photographers constantly saying umm lovely shot Jarred!!!

In all seriousness it is a very nice shot Jarred...and the quality of the Scarlet is just something else.

Man, that's an expensive watch. I wonder how many modules I'd have to not get to buy one :)

They are quite reasonably priced actually! - still expensive obviously but not ludicrous. I was looking at the Oakley Minute Machine a while back which is another rather sexy watch.

BTW my Great Grandfather who died fairly recently at a grand old age of 108 (no idea how old he was but was definitely over 103), was a watch/Clock-smith all his life and he told me spend over £500 never over a £1000 for a watch. If a watch costs over a thousand its always cosmetic.

I second the motion for some motion...don't want to upset the motion in the ocean, but damn I want to see some motion.

Interesting...you shot this almost 2 weeks ago???? (watch says 21...assuming that's Feb. 21). I wonder what other goodies you have in store for us.
