  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thoughts on Tilta's new Gravity Gimbal vs Ronin (and a bit on the new Armor Man 2)

This isn't the GB as that hasn't launched yet, so no need to put your +1's here as they wont be counted. Have to wait for it to launch and respond on that specific thread...otherwise it's too hard for me to keep track. That GB should launch within the next couple of weeks. Trying to finalize everything with Tilta to make sure this is as seem less as possible.

This is a demo unit for me to test/provide feedback. Had a long meeting with them yesterday going over everything. Make sure you really tighten those handles down and you shouldn't see any slipping. I mentioned that to Tilta before I even really have started to test this thing that they should make a rubber gasket/o-ring to prevent any slipping, and they said they look into it. We had an Alexi mini fully kitted out with a brick battery, master prime, etc and this thing didn't event flinch once, even at aggressive tilt angles - which really couldn't be done with the MoVI or Ronin without a second op. It's incredibly light too!!

Beautiful Chris, after investing in R-Mx with all its hidden cost of buying case, aks etc, I think the price tier you are trying to acheive is very nice, I also hope they come out with ring / grip aks for it too.
 
Sorry if I missed it - is there a new Gravity coming out? What is GB? I am keen to get Tilta Gravity as I am tired of Ronin crapping out all the time.
