If that's the case then OK, and as it should be, absolutely 100% MIller should have covered it under warranty, but Rob's last post in the thread did not say that, it said that he had to pay.

Rob simply forgot to come back to this thread afterwards and post in detail the resolution of the situation. But an indication that it was resolved very satisfactorily was posted by Rob in his Post #33 of this thread, where he wrote: "Agree with your assessment, Steve. Miller makes a good product and does stand by it. Glad for our purchase."
He's a good friend and business alliance of mine, so what I posted about the resolution of the situation is accurate and first hand knowledge.

I don't doubt you in the slightest, and good on Miller for agreeing to do it in the end, I was just responding to the info in the thread - the perils of reviving an old thread I guess!

No worries! Old threads get revived all the time. Fortunately the situation Rob had ended up quite well.
A cool thing about all these old threads is that they're here for us to review and get info from. That's one of the major reasons we're all on here - to learn, which is obviously a never ending process in this industry. We're all "works in progress"
