Hello guys, so i doubted a lot in posting this, but since i don't have any other resources here it goes.

After that, i got in contact with the user "Luke K", he's form Canada, and we started the chat by Gmail. (EMAIL : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3_7wALi4B45SXJHTS11SjBPd2M/view?usp=sharing)

As seen here, me and my dad wanted to upgrade our family production company on Mexico, we knew we were taking a big risk but we trusted on a RED user and we trusted on how he knew about the RED, I SOLD all my DSLR equipment to get this money. We were completely stupid to tranfer 7k to a person that we didn't knew. So i'd like the help of you guys on any way you can, if you could help me track down that guy or maybe just contact him.. That'd mean a lot for us.. Right now we don't have any way to get money, we sold our work equipment to get this money, we worked hard, we are honest persons, and suddenly a guy comes and made us an unfair move.. I've his info, but i'd like your opinion about my case and hope you could help me. Thanks a lot.

Canada and Mexico are not that far apart (well, I'm a guy who lives in Auckland.... the most remote *city* in the world! I can be envious of Canadians/Mexicans :-P), you should have flown over to pay for it and pick it up. I'd never spend that sort of cash (outside eBay/Amazon/B&H/etc) without doing it in person! (And buying it from a person with only 52 posts is super super risky! And first post was only a few weeks beforehand.... gigantically stupidly risky)

Too late now though :-/ Hope it works out for you.

I just had a read through that txt file you linked to. He did warn you beforehand a LOT that meeting up in person is the best way to go about it. Should've taken notice of that....

Anyway, I take that as a very good sign he advised you of that. As it strikes me as a more honest person, who isn't outright seeking to scam you from the start

Looking at the date stamps, it is very recent, so I wouldn't at all be surprised if it hasn't reached your cousins yet. So don't stress about that.

The only concern is he hasn't replied for the last few days, but perhaps he is away shooting on location doing 14hr days and hasn't got a chance to reply just yet. I'd probably suggest holding tight for just one more week, before raising the alarm.

This is an absolutely terrible thing that has occurred.

The user has been banned and doesn't exactly have any reputation on REDuser, valid websites, or anything to really "show" he's a reliable seller. Unfortunately there are many, many red flags that occurred and I would do everything in your power to contact the authorities and perhaps bank even.
