  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The word on Dragon

6K plays fine on my 2010 Mac Pro, in Premiere and Resolve, in 1/4 res which is fine for working. No Rocket cards (I don't like the quality reduction Rocket decodes entail, so I will never buy one until it looks identical to software decode). We never, ever use proxies in house. I don't understand why anyone would do serious work on a laptop unless you are forced to work in hotel rooms. It doesn't make any sense and is pure masochism.

Unfortunately , Thats my world 8 months of the year.
Dragging around a MAC PRO TOWER + plus TB CASES is hard. Customs, freight, damage.... the list goes on.

Such is life.

Rodney "inherited" the Red One choice from Jimmy Muro, who shot the first 4 or so episodes of the series. Starting with season 2, the camera choice was changed to Alexa, first by Rodney, and continued by Kevin McKnight.

Thanks for the info. Makes sense. Glad the new season is starting soon.
