Can someone explain what recording options you lose (if any) if you only have standard mini mags and not the high speed ones in the epic - w? Trying to figure out what the extra 75 MB/s gets you.

Previous cameras would NOT gain in frame rates but in lower compression, dont know if its the case here...

I think i get a headech of this drunken thread. Its hard to find digest all info spread over 541 pages. I have not put in any deposit but have an epic mx. I have no clue if there is a trade in program for mx or if its purely a discount on epic mx to w? Im not tradeing in my beloved mx. So then a deposit on a scarlet w? And then change that to a deposit on epic w instead? Perhaps im abit slow now with tight deadlines and two kids (youngest 5 weeks) taking alot of my focus. If you got an answer on this question send me apm. I cant get a hold of my bomb squad and i think my question will be burid in 20 pages soon.

Would be great to have this info before doing any decisions.

I have a current deposit in to upgrade my Epic-Dragon to CW Weapon, and then just now put in an 11th hour scarlet-W deposit. Just to give myself all available options. Been going back and forth since this thread began. I've lost 5 lbs and haven't taken a solid crap in over a week. This countdown has been taking it's toll...
