  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

hopefully my e-mail to switch doesn't get lost in the shuffle today. I feel like calling and trying to switch a deposit over will be pointless right at announcement

It sounds like they're churning Helium Sensors fairly quickly so it shouldn't be months away for all S-W switchers that call in today since we get first priority (based on timestamp) over camera upgrades and brand new orders. He said "maybe" they'll run out by the end of today, which means they should be able to get most of us covered. With a dedicated Helium line, it shouldn't be that long a wait.

Very curious about he Raven path. I had mine since June, so it's either trading that in or going with the Scarlet-W deposit. Wondering what the price difference will be. We will keep our Dragon for now

Someone wake up Jarred. I can't wait 4 more hours. I'm totally pumped to get an E-W, but I want to know about the color science. I want to see what magic Graeme has concocted that will finally assuage any feelings that Arri has a leg up in color. Also can't wait to see the highlight rolloff
 
hehe spencer. I was gonna make the voicechat thing public, but looks like Jarred has given us a good idea of when to pay attention. I am online tho if anyone wants to chat.. send me a pm and i will send you info to the server
 
Out of curiosity I called a local RED dealer, they said all the units they received are spoken for, but that RED is fulfilling at a good pace, so any orders they take now should be fulfilled in under 2 weeks. Sounds pretty promising that they'll be able to keep up!
 
Just saw a picture of the cases Epic-W come in that a dealer posted on faebook but its gone now. Badass

Wow! This is huge! Going to be a lot of Epic-W out there! Probably more than there are currently even Scarlet-Ws...
