Jarred, I talked to my rep nick Friday and I was planning on switching my Raven deposit from February over to scarlet-w so that we could take advantage of the drunk financing plan and any other advantages that scarlet w deposit holders will have over Raven people. He informed me that Raven people also will be able to take advantage of the drunk financing plan since it would be pointless to have people switching from Raven to scarlet just to switch to epic-w in a couple of days. Just asking if I'm good where I am with my Raven order or if I should switch over to scarlet w for any added benefits like queue priority or financing options? Thank you

Awesome, So it's just strictly prior time stamp on Raven, scarlet, weapon mg deposit holders for epic w upgrades? Like one deposit holder doesn't get priority over another?

i havent heard the raven offer yet, i think that is the ONE that has not been revealed. the problem is that i love my Raven and it's perfect for my personal camera, all my productions go through a rental house and i only actually rent mine if the production is in dire need for a cheap way to have a second or third or forth camera. in these cases it paid for my camera twice over already, but there is no charging more then i do for any camera i get because again it's always in the "i can help this budget situation out" kind of deal.
and for myself, the raven fits my needs perfectly and i got the kippertie internal nds on order!
the other thing im debating is just putting in another deposit for a scarlet-w, that i could possible roll forward or roll back, but honestly with this late of deposit, i would guess im waiting about 8 plus months anyway.

oh, so its confirmed clark is not a bomb squad rep anymore, so, he didnt contact me.
can someone at red have kevin contact me and become my rep then?
i would think if your rep leaves then you should be contacted, no?

I'm a Scarlet W Feb timestamp, pretty gutted but i'm unable to jump on the Helium fast track train this time but my question is will there be an upgrade path once all has settled down after Oct 11th?

Hey Jarred, when you mentioned Weapon-MG pre-orders left as well... Would people that sent in their Epic-Dragons and have been sitting at RED waiting for the weapon-mg upgrade put them in a category to be treated as weapon-mg? Or are they still with Epic-Dragon? My camera was at RED in Irvine on September 13th in for the upgrade and I'm not sure it's going to make it. Just curious what happens to people who paid the $5000 deposit for MG upgrade and have been sitting at RED in Irvine, what group we fall into. And would it be possible since we had the camera in early enough to still be able to take advantage of the accessory package or not. Either way it's cool, just figured there are probably quite a few people like myself that are in a similar situation that have their Epic-Dragons at red, these are kind of in a different scenario. Just want to be clear on those that are taking advantage of the loophole to get the discount straight to Epic-W ( by putting down a new deposit on Scarlet-W ), you need to have your deposits in tomorrow, because that deal closes at the start of the announcement. You don't need to pay for the whole thing tomorrow.. just get your deposits in by the end of day tomorrow ( or if you are a gambling man before I start posting on tuesday )

Can you please clarify something for me?

I own a Epic-MX and could upgrade to Scarlet-W for $19500 on the 11th..... Or if I put I deposit in by tomorrow for a scarlet-w I could only pay (total) $9950 Scarlet-W + 10K and still get the same camera?... So I could keep my Epic-mX by going the Scarlet-w loophole and only pay an additional $450.... and still get to the Epic-W.

Am I crazy or have I read the forum right, been on it for many hours...

Also - Will helium have interchangeable OFLP's?...

it sounds crazy, but yes, you could do the Scarlet-W loophole and keep your Epic MX. The major difference to realize is that after Oct 10th, everyone who didn't already place a Scarlet-W order will only be able to do the deals available to them. So from that perspective, Epic MX owners will just see an upgrade opportunity they didn't have before.

Consider your knowledge of the loophole to be a perk of being on REDuser.

I think I read somewhere the OLPF's are going to be the same, and work the same as Dragon 6k.

I am too lazy to find the post right now, but Jarred said that they moved the low pass filter portion of the OLPF to the sensor glass on DSMC2, so you can use the existing DSMC2 OLPFs on the Helium and Dragon sensors.

Hi - despite having read this amazing thread in full over the past week - I have lost track of the answer to the following:
Who will get priority with Epic-W ? MX owners or Scarlet-W unfulfilled orders wishing to upgrade ?
Originally, I thought it was the former, but lately recall a statement about those without cameras (i.e the latter) getting priority.

As an Epic-M MX owner who thought he had missed the boat - this will have a bearing on the route I take (loophole or send the MX in...........). If I can keep my Epic-M and get an Epic-W faster by going the loophole route... seems like the route to take.
